WILL HOLLAND, PH.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York City. I see teens and adults for psychotherapy. I am available both online and in person on the Upper West Side.

I practice from a patient and caring stance that allows me to understand who you are and gives you room to come to know all of yourself. I listen closely to what lies at the edges, working to expand the range of feelings available to you and to soften stuck or hardened life stories. Therapy holds safety and challenge, exploration and reflection. Humor, spontaneity, and playfulness are serious business here, too—growth comes as much from our play as from our work.

Alongside my private practice, I work as an Upper School Psychologist at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School and serve as a clinical supervisor for doctoral trainees at The City College of New York.

I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The City College of New York, CUNY. I completed my internship at Madison Park Psychological Services through the Derner Internship Consortium, and trained at The Psychological Center and the Queens College Counseling Center.
